About Us
Happy Hills Day Nursery first opened in Markethill in 2016, and soon after, added the After Schools Club facility due to high demand from the local area.

At Happy Hills, we are focused on providing the highest quality of child care, from newborn to primary school-aged children, in a safe and enjoyable environment for all the children in our care.
​
Over the years, the nursery has expanded and in summer 2019 the After Schools Club moved to the fantastic facilities of the Kilcluney Community Hall on the outsides of Markethill. This new location provides an extensive outdoor setting for our older children to enjoy after their school day is complete.
​
In March 2021, Happy Hills opened its second Day Nursery and After Schools Club in Blackwatertown. Although a new location, the values and ethos of high standards and exceptional quality of care remain the same.
​
As a team, we have enjoyed every minute of watching the Happy Hills families grow and thrive in our care .

Happy Hills are currently completing the Hygge accreditation in Early Years, our wonderful Team have been on the Hygge Journey from reopening in July.
​
Hygge (pronounced Hue-gah) is the Danish approach to living well and focuses on being in the moment and embracing the feelings of warmth, simplicity and togetherness.
In Happy Hills over the past few months we have worked hard at creating a feeling of cosiness and the comfort within our rooms that in turn will help spark feelings of contentment and contributes to a positive learning environment for the children. The sense of security and well being is essential in every child's daily routine.

We are so pleased with how our Early Childhood center is transforming into this amazing Hygge space for all of our Happy Hills Children.
